The special edition APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH joins Leica’s line of Summicron lens for the M camera bodies, which also includes a 28mm, 21mm, 24mm, 28mm, and 35mm. The wide-angle lenses all. The summicron-m 50mm f/2 dual range is one of the most interesting leica m lenses with the closest rangefinder coupled focusing of any m lens. This lens has two focus ranges: the normal range (1m to infinity), and a special near-focusing range that runs from 0.88m down to 0.478m when uses the close-focus attachment.
